As a native West Texan with a strong foundation in both the oil and gas industries and education, I have always been deeply passionate about learning. My mantra is simple yet powerful: “Every day is a school day.” This commitment to continuous growth has been a cornerstone throughout my career, from the energy sector to my current leadership role in higher education administration. My focus is always on fostering growth in both myself and those around me. 

I hold a BS and MS in Geology from Texas Tech University, as well as an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Currently, I lead TTU DFW, a branch of TTU Online, where I've been driving the creation of a new educational site from the ground up. This includes building a team, serving students while construction is still underway, and customizing student services for non-traditional learners. It's an exciting challenge that perfectly blends my love for education with my passion for innovation. 

Before transitioning to higher education, I spent 15 years in the energy industry, including 10 years at ExxonMobil and 5 years in consulting. From technical to commercial to project management roles, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse teams and clients, which has provided me with a deep understanding of the energy business and a versatile skill set.  My technial expertise spans energy transition, sustainable business development, strategic planning, and project management.  

At the heart of my work is a true passion for collaboration, developing others, optimizing processes, and embracing innovative approaches in all that I do.  Whether mentoring young professionals, organizing industry events, or supporting students, I am committed to helping others succeed.
